吳光謀牧師出生於香港，在北美接受教育；分別畢業於加拿大緬省大學主修經濟，其後於美國紐約上州宣道神學院獲道學碩士，主修海外差傳，繼而在印第安那州三一神學院獲教牧學博士，主修釋經講道學。吳牧師自1985年一直在紐約事奉至今，於1990年開始在「紐約短期宣教訓練中心」董事會任董事及主席；又於1993年至2011年在「信心聖經神學院」任客座教授；同時於1995年至今一直在紐約神學教育中心漢語網路神學院任客座講師。並於1997年在神的引導下創辦「愛誠福音教會」。
Pastor Kwong Mau Ng was born in Hong Kong and received his education in North America. He graduated from the University of Manitoba, Canada majoring in economics, and later received a Master of Divinity from Alliance Theological Seminary in New York, USA, majoring in overseas missions, and then received a Doctor of Ministry at Trinity Theological Seminary in Indiana, majoring in Expository Preaching. Pastor Ng has been serving God in Metropolitan New York since 1985. He served as a chairman of the Board of Directors at the New York Christian Short-Term Mission Training Centre since 1990. He also served as a visiting professor at Faith Bible Theological Seminary from 1993 to 2011; Since 1995, he has been a guest lecturer at the New York Theological Education Center/Chinese Online School of Theology. In 1997, under God’s guidance, he founded Elmhurst Christian Gospel Church.
吳牧師的恩賜乃多方面，但主要集中在佈道、講道、教導及以文載道等四方面；一向以傳揚福音使未信者蒙恩、並造就信徒靈命成長及裝備蒙召事奉的基督徒成為神忠心的僕人使女為己任。吳牧師已出版了30本屬靈書籍及16款福音單張。師母吳李翠娟女士乃牧師之賢內助，相夫教子；吳師母是紐約州的特殊教育執照老師及語言治療師；現今提早退休與吳牧師同心事奉。他們育有兩女一子，大女兒為室內設計師，(二女兒與三子為異卵雙胞胎)，二女兒為執業律師,小兒子為精神科醫師。一家五口同心事奉神。
Pastor Ng’s gifts are multi-faceted but mainly focus on four aspects, such as evangelism, preaching, teaching, and writing. As part of his duties, he has always preached the gospel to show grace to unbelievers, cultivate believers to grow spiritually and equip Christians who are called to serve to become God’s faithful servants. He has already published 30 books and16 gospel tracts (both in English and Chinese). Mrs. Chuikuen Lee Ng, the pastor’s wife, is a virtuous woman and a talented helper for her husband and children; Mrs. Ng is a licensed special education teacher and Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) in New York State; they have two daughters and one son, the eldest daughter is an Interior Designer, (the second daughter and the third son are fraternal twins), the second daughter is a Lawyer, and the youngest son is a Psychiatrist. The family of five serves God together.
