Our Objective

Acts 2:41-47
Membership -> Maturity -> Ministry -> Missions -> Magnification

Since Elmhurst Christian Gospel Church was founded in 1997, our objectives have been established according to the New Testament Acts 2:41-47. We encourage all Christians to witness and share the Gospel to their friends and relatives and bring them to church. The new comers will be equipped and edified to accept Jesus Christ as their personal Savior. When they can stand firm in the Biblical truth and receive baptism, they become members of the Church (Membership).

After baptism, the new converts' faith and spiritual life will grow by means of attending different meetings, such as Sunday school classes, fellowships, worship services, discipleship trainings, etc (Maturity).

In order to become a more mature Christian, he/she should learn how to serve in church by joining different ministries, such as usher department, food department, choir, fellowships, worship department, etc (Ministry). These ministries can help a Christian to dedicate and devote himself in God's eternal kingdom.

Moreover, we both emphasize on local and foreign missions. We, on the one hand, dedicate ourselves in evangelizing everyone in local Elmhurst, on the other, we encourage our members to go overseas to share the Gospel to every nation, every tribe (Missions).

We trust that one day when the whole world is totally evangelized, all people and all nations will come to praise and worship our Lord Jesus Christ as the Creator, the Almighty God, and above all, their personal Savior (Magnification).
